Underfloor heating – Arkon Heating

Arkon Heating infrared film

Far-infrared heating film is the new cutting edge technology which brings the comfort of warmth to your life. Infrared light is part of the sun’s invisible spectrum and while invisible, it is experienced as heat. Our heating systems work on the same principle as you would feel the warmth of the sun rays on your face even during a cold winter day.

Infrared rays heat the objects directly without the need of air or any other medium to carry them. Infrared heating works by heating walls, floors, objects in the heated area and a human body directly instead of heating the air. In turn the objects then release the heat into the environment. By having our system installed under your floors, you will experience warmth which could never be achieved by heating and blowing warm air.

Infrared systems are at least 50% more energy efficient than traditional heating methods. Completely zonable, these systems allow the end user to have absolute control of any specific area that requires heating. (Maintenance free with no moving parts, our systems are backed by 15 year limited warranty if installed by a certified technician).

The heater is perfect for most floor surfaces like laminate, engineered hardwood, tile, vinyl, carpet, etc.
